Dara was born and raised in Cooper City, Florida. She attended the University of South Florida. She graduated USF Cum Laude in 2002 and as a member of the Golden Key Honor Society. After graduating, Dara was a classically trained actress in New York City, performing in numerous New York City venues. In 2009, Dara earned her law degree from St. Thomas Univeristy, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. While at St. Thomas, Dara was Managing Editor of Law Review and President of the Mock Trial Team.

Dara's practice areas include automobile liability, insurance coverage disputes, and first and third party insurance matters.

Dara is a fan of the Florida Gators and also the South Florida Bulls football teams.
