Steven J. Chackman

Steven was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Margate, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College in 1980 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami, School of Law, in 1983. Steven founded the law firm in 1992 and is proud to have his sons working with him at the firm. Steven has been Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law since the year 2000. Steven is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
His practice consists of complex insurance litigation, first party property matters, insurance agent errors and omissions cases, negligence matters and civil litigation.
Steven is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Steven has served on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee. His work has led to numerous speaking engagements.
Steven and his wife, Ann, have four sons, one daughter and live in Hollywood, Florida. Steven enjoys playing golf and spending quality time with his family.
